The knife's handle is crafted in eye catching wave mokume gane. This ancient Japanese sword decorating technique, mastered by William Henry's artisans, fuses layers of strong metals together to form patterns that resemble natural wood grains. The distinctive layers of copper, stainless steel and pure iron are designed to look like flowing ocean waves.

William Henry's exclusive Copper Wave Damascus steel blade carries on the Copper Canyon 's oceanic theme. Layers of copper and steel are expertly forged together to create multicolored one of a kind rippling wave patterns. The blade's VG-5 stainless steel core provides excellent cutting edge hardness.
