Our Koru necklace is hand made from strong Hawaiian koa wood. This golden brown wood has been used to construct sturdy ocean-crossing outrigger canoes and early versions of surfboards for hundreds of years. This Koru is textured with a Maori Warrior tattoo pattern.

The spiral shaped Koru resembles an unfurling leaf of New Zealand’s silver fern. The Maori people say it represents life’s infinite cycle of new beginnings and growth. No wonder so many modern day Maoris wear Koru tattoos to take on its spiritual power.

Pay tribute to the milestones of life with our symbolic men’s Maori Koru carved koa wood rope necklace.

Size: The pendant measures 2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide. The rope cord is 26 inches long and 3/32 inch thick.

Material: Hawaiian Koa Wood. Brown Braided Rope.
