In 1972, a group of American surfers set out on a spiritual quest through the island jungles of Java to find a legendary surfing spot where the waves were said to be perpetually perfect. They found it at Grajagan Bay, on the southeastern tip of this remote Indonesian country. Today, this surfing paradise is known as G-Land and it's still one of the most popular surfing camp destinations on Earth.

Bico Australia infuses its silver-plated Grajagan men's surfboard necklace pendant with the determined spirit of those intrepid surfing explorers. Take a cue from them and go on your own quest for spiritual perfection.

The pendant has a classic shortboard design including an upturned tapered nose and three thruster fins attached to the board's underside. We love the tribal tattoo shaped rosewood inlays set into the top surface of the surfboard. Bico sources this warm, dark grained tropical wood from the island of New Guinea, located off the northern coast of Australia. The rosy wood really brings island warmth to the cool metallic surface of the board.

Flip the board over. Here you'll see tribal tattoo shapes that are cutaway from the surface metal. You can see the genuine rosewood through the cut out sections.

If you can't travel to Java's G-Land surf camp right this second, slip on your Bico Grajagan surfboard necklace pendant and go on a never-ending barrel ride in your imagination. Cowabunga, dude.

The chain pendant is hand polished and made of real silver over pewter with an invisible hypoallergenic coating to protect the finish.
