Unstoppable is the man who wields a symbol of such ancient power; and now Scott Kay interprets this message in sterling silver for the modern man. The sun cross, aka the wheel of the seasons, has had cult significance since prehistoric times. In Bronze Age of Europe it denoted both the sun as the highest source of life and energy, as well as the land as it cycles endlessly through the seasons (represented by the four quadrants). Thus, a king would display it on his attire to signify a dominance that endures - the winner who never quits.

The medieval design of this hand-forged men's ring could have come straight from the hoard of one such Celtic chieftain. Hammered riveted studs alternate with sun crosses all around the band, against a high-contrast oxidized background. Time, says the cross in the wheel, is the chariot of glory, overriding all obstacles. Charging into battle is only half the story - a determination to see it through to the end is what triumphs.

At its widest point the ring is 7/16 inch wide and 1/16 inch thick. Tribal Hollywood carries the most popular ring sizes, but other sizes from 8-13 are available by special order.

Care of your ring: Your ring should not be cleaned with any type of jewelry cleaner. Clean regularly with the included Scott Kay Sterling polishing cloth.
